This might seem like a crap but its important for me.
Do you guys know any software, which i can use to practise "speaking" (English Of course), like i say something to my computer(through mike) and computer responses to me.
I'm not fluent in speaking english and I can practise only this way, 'cause people in my part of world use native language. SO if guys could please help me...
I found this nice site which sounds atleast promising maybe you can try it. I did only read the main page so i don't know if this is really any help for you. http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/default.asp
i dont know of a computer program that speaks back to you, but getting on ICQ or AOL messenger might do the trick. and theres options to have live chat with other people i think? as long as you have a mike and they have a mike.....
best way to practice is to do it with the real thing..... so id recommend live chatting via the above services. i mean, you wouldnt practice sex with something artificial so why practice your english with an artificial program :)
btw, your "typing english" is quite good.... but i guess you want to improve your "spoken english"? is that right?
there's a fair lot speech recognition thingys out there, but most are sharewware, sadly. You could of course get them for free if you ermmm...... knew where to look
if you're not set on the speech recognition though & are running XP, you could always try the narrator. it'under start - > all programs - > accessories - > accessibility - > narrator.
open up notepad, type whatever you like, and narrator will read it aloud. It has a crazy a55 voice, lol, but it may be of some use.
I am sure that you are studying at school now. If do, then why not start conversations with your friends in English. I think giving speechess and presentations do work a lot.
As blah blah blah said previously, your written English has no problem at all so if you want to practise your spoken English, you should have a on-spot try with people around you.
For your requests, I think you could talk to people on Yahoo MSN, althoug as far as I know that, most people in the chat room who use Microphone to talk to you are Indians.(No discriminations to their accent)
