 I had a good day out in Nottingham. I went round the Galleries of Justice - and I'm now scared thoroughly straight - had a meal and saw the awesome War of the Worlds show at Nottingham Arena. If anyone can get tickets for the remaining dates, I encourage you to do so. Jeff Wayne's musical is simply stunning, and performed live with CGI images on a huge screen, live singers and the Black Smoke Band it was on a completely new level. The scale model of the Martian Fighting Machine on stage was nothing short of eerie, and when the red spot light came on I half-expected the audience to burst into flames at the touch of the heat-ray...

Jehuty, I'll keep you in mind to fill in next time I have a day off. I'm having a drink later, so, I'll send you the bar bill tomorrow...

If you see my brother while you're there... don't tell him about this place, ok?

It's "Bon anniversaire".
Anniversaire is male, not female, lol.
But actually, the pronunciation is the same that it would be for "bonne anniversaire", because of the liaison between the sound of the final consonant and the initial vowel.
That's probably why you did the mistake.
That's tricky, I know
