There are really aggravating me!!! I suddenly don't have my youtube username any more, it logs me in with my email address that is separate. Not only that I can't save new favorites without it identifing all my videos publically with my full name. What the hell ever happened to anonymity! Some things are suppose to stay private.

lol, there should be a "I don't want my name to be public" option and then it'll ask you why and there are like... 5 answers, stuff like "this account is for a company" and "people know me by my persona" and other stuff.

I don't remember the specifics, sorry, I just remember hearing about the new "Google wants everyone to know your real name" BS months ago and then them asking me once. Luckily, I have multiple GMail accounts and my YT one isn't tied to my personal (i.e. real) email.

 I too have multiple gmail and youtube accounts, yet the only one I full access to is the one I don't use for this. I've been trying for a couple days to get my one particular account functional but no luck so far. Weird thing is, it is asking me to enter my username in but it says the one I have been using for several years is already taken. Weird.

Very weird. Hopefully it'll work itself out. And hopefully it's just some kind of weird situation that got wonky instead of a sign of things to come.
