I can't believe those fratboys left out Jennifer Connelly. Both lists left out the hottest woman alive (in my opinion), Tilda Swinton. Also missing were Sarah Polley, Asia Argento, Lauren Ambrose, Lily Taylor, Julie Delpy, Charlotte Gainesbourg, Catherine Keener, and Sheryl Crow.
I've heard about it, seems the consensus is that most people prefer the Afterellen one over the Maxim. No surprise, Maxim's is a popularity list, and I'm sure they are looking to get into good favor with those women who haven't been in the magazine yet.
Hey we should have our list of our top women who have been in HLA scenes. I think I made a thread about that already. Probably wouldn't get to 100 though.
All top-whatever lists are horse****. I don't need afterellen or maxim or anyone to tell me who I am to believe is hotter than whom. It's filler. All worthless filler.
Another thing: what does the word "hot" even mean? At least I know what they mean by "best actor" or "best time in the 40 meter dash while crocheting a pair of socks with copper wire." "Hot" is such a meaningless thought-dodging nonsense buzzword. Gee let's all be proactive and get some synergy going while we're declaring nebulous, arbitrary values. Buh.
Besides, they left Natalie Merchant out of both lists and therefore both parties must actually be a collection of straight women and gay men.
I have to hand it to TV Guide, though-they named Jennifer Love Hewitt The Sexiest Woman on TV! Honorable mentions go to Katherine Heigl and Eva Longoria-Parker (who did at least one nice lesbian scene in a movie-it's on here somewhere)! All three are just...wonderful!
