From what I've seen, Israel is trying to defeat an extremist sect that happens to be in Lebanon, rather than attempting to annex Lebanon. While they've obviously done this without regard to Lebanon's sovereignity, it seems to me they're within their rights to defend themselves from this terrorist group.
Also, be advised that while I'm happy for this thread to be here and this subject to be discussed, if it turns into a flame-war I will lock it and take any other action I deem necessary. Consider yourselves warned.
So Billy, have the Israeli actions stopped? Who is in charge of the border areas: Israel, the Lebanese government, or Hezbollah? Do the Lebanese worry that American support of their push for freedom from Syria will end because of the 2006 American elections?

mubirushu ....the situation in Lebanon is very Dangerous ....hezbollah want the country all do what the want to do ....be under their order (Syria and Iran) . Israel will not stop till she reaches her goal.....and yes we are afraid that US ANd france give up on us with the upcoming election.(give are head to syria or Israel)
