well the girl/girl thing is really acepted here.... just like in most countries where the girls flirt with each other for attention from the boys. i know (and have witnessed) a number of my friends pashing away to get EVERYONES attention - note that i dont mind ;)

sydney also has the gay and lesbian mardi gras festival..... so most sydney-siders are used to the sight of gays/lesbians. although its the worst driving through oxford street the day after.... gays can get really annoying when theyre drunk (and drugged up)
