I watched 'The Brown Bunny' today.Have any of you guys seen it? I thought it was a good film (alot disagree). If you know who Vincent gallo is you'll know what to expect, its slow paced and a little weird yet at the same time its extremly watchable and deep. The guys a brilliant director and its possably one of the most beautifully shot films i've ever seen, he also did buffalo 66 which is one of my fav movies of all time (thats where my forum name comes from, the lead character). Be warned though if you watch the movie it has a very graphic sexual scene near the end (its became infamous on the net).
I heard of the terrible reviews it got, and saw the graphic oral sex scene at the end. What I heard I'd only watch it too see how bad it is, but I really feel sorry for Chloe Sevigny. She sucked Gallo's(Gallo was an actor/director) dick, just too get her filmed booed at it's showing. She actually broke out in tears. What a shame.
I didn't know it was so badly recieved. I have to admit, while i love it, I can easily see how its not eveeryones cup of tea. I've read alot of stuff on imdb.com since seeing it and some people REALLY hate it.

I'm not sure if it's the story or cinematography that makes the film bad. Could be a combination of both. From what I've heard isn't there a scene where the gallo washes a car, but it's in real time?
Yeah, its most likly the slow pace of the movie that bugs most people. Alot of the time the show you him driving and it stays on his face for a solid minute, then the show you the road for like 3 minutes. I watched it hung over on a sunday though so I wasnt really wanting loads noises and action
